Welcome to the Communications and Electronics Engineering Program at the Giza Institute of Engineering and Technology in Egypt. Our program provides students with a comprehensive education in communications and electronics engineering, preparing them for successful careers in industry, academia, and research. Our curriculum is designed to give students a solid foundation in the principles and practices of communications and electronics engineering, along with hands-on experience using the latest technologies and tools.

In the Communications and Electronics Engineering program, we offer a robust curriculum that includes a variety of courses in communication and electronics systems. Our program also focuses on developing students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as their ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively. With an emphasis on both theory and practical applications, our graduates are well-equipped to tackle real-world challenges in the field of communications and electronics engineering. Whether students are interested in designing and developing communication and electronic systems, conducting research and development, or working in management or consulting, our program provides the foundation necessary for success in a wide range of career paths.

  Mission

Preparing graduates with a high scientific background in both theoretical and practical aspects that keep pace with developments in science and technology. They possess a solid scientific foundation that enables them to embrace new advancements in the fields of electronics and telecommunications in the future, participate in future development, innovation, and scientific research, contributing to community service and meeting its needs.

  Objectives

1. Apply the knowledge gained from principles of mathematics, science, and engineering.

2. Utilize the required design skills in electronics and communications engineering.

3. Possess the skills necessary to conduct laboratory and field experiments and interpret their results.

4. Solve engineering problems in the workplace.

5. Exhibit good communication skills, both verbal and written.

6. Work effectively as an individual or as a member of a professional interdisciplinary team.

7. Have a solid understanding of engineering responsibilities, ethics, legalities, and professionalism.

8. Gain experience in lifelong learning as an engineer.

9. Enhance practical skills in handling electronics and communication technologies, including the manufacturing, characterization, and installation of components, devices, and systems.

10. Work in a multidisciplinary environment and contribute to advancements in electronics and communications engineering, while recognizing the importance of lifelong learning.

The Department of Communications and Electronics Engineering was established in 2009, two years after the founding of Giza Institute in 2007.

There is no doubt that, with each passing year, communications and electronics engineering becomes more deeply integrated into the smallest details of our lives. Who among us can deny that communications and electronics engineering is the future? This field is evolving daily to keep pace with the latest technological methods that serve humanity.

Therefore, students of communications engineering at the institute study electronic circuits, measurement tools, electronic gates, radio waves, various communication systems, programming, electronic control, antennas, networks, and more.
