  • The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit (QAAU) implements and improves the internal quality system to monitor and evaluate the institute's performance, apply total quality management, ensure continuous improvement of the institute's performance.

The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit (QAAU) at the Giza Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2013 and was accredited as an independent unit reporting administratively to the Dean of the institute. It is an administrative entity responsible for monitoring and evaluating performance within the institute, as per the Institute's Board of Directors Decision No. (2) dated 17/3/2014.

 

1- Achieve the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the institute.

2- Implement National Standards:  Apply national standards for accreditation and quality assurance in education.

3- Promote a Culture of Quality: Foster a quality culture among all students and staff members at the institute.

4- Optimise Performance: Improve the performance of various departments and administrations through evaluation reports to achieve the desired quality level.

5- Prepare and analyze periodic reports related to the monitoring of educational programs.

6- Analyze and monitor performance improvement plans for courses, programs, and all stakeholders in the educational system.

7 - Ensure Compliance with Accreditation Requirements: Guarantee that the institute meets the conditions and requirements set by the The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), and prepare the institute for national and international accreditation.

8 - Create a Comprehensive Database for the activities, departments, and administrative units of the institute.
